“Dare to Be.”

About this quote
Decide to show up differently by doing one clear thing you’ve been avoiding. Pick a small, visible risk you can take this week and schedule it on your calendar. Expect nerves; push through the first action and write down what you learn. Tell one person what you plan so you’re more likely to follow through.
When to use it
- At the product-team meeting when roles are being assigned, say: "I'll lead the prototype sprint this month" and then book the kickoff session for Monday.
- Before the college recital, walk on stage and tell yourself: "I will play this piece honestly" — then play the opening bars with that mindset.
- When registering for fitness classes, sign up for the beginner boxing course and go to the first class this Tuesday night.
- At dinner with your partner, bring up the idea of changing careers and say: "I want to try a different path; can we plan how to test it this year?"
